Bob has now been calling for almost 20 years starting first in ceilidhs then contra and Playford dances.
He loves flowing, well connected contra dances as well as having a fascination with the older historical “chestnuts” and in Playford he specialises in the older dances from the original Playford books although he also appreciates a really good modern dance.
He aims for calm, accessible calling whatever his audience and is equally at home with a PTA function as at a large festival or taking part in a massive medley (ask him about Constant Contra and Persistent Playford some time!).
He’s looking forward to welcoming you for an eclectic weekend this year.
