Our payments provider sometimes refuses your payment without giving a detailed error message. This can be frustrating.
If you have any problem with making your booking, please check the following:
- Please enter your card number before entering your postcode. The postcode validation relates to the country that the card is issued in. However, it defaults to USA zip-code format until your card number is entered.
- Please check your card details including the CVC carefully.
- Please check that the amount to be paid is correct: £20 deposit per person.
- Please stay on the booking page until the Thank You message is displayed.
- You should receive an email from Folk Camps, followed a few minutes later by an email from Stripe, confirming your payment. If you do not receive both, please contact us.
If you are confident that you have tried all of the above, but you still fail to make your booking, then please email bookings@folkcamps.co.uk with details of everyone in your booking party, including names, address(es) and ages of any under the age of 22.
You can make payment direct to our bank account (for the deposits, or the full amount – for most camps now in 2025 the full amount is due soon anyway).
