Camp Content 2015

What to expect?

A fully catered week of folk activities based around a marquee. Music, song, dance and crafts. Suitable for all – adults, children, families and singles.

Likely to include lots of varied dancing in the evenings, all-inclusive music workshops in the mornings, an opportunity to join the band in the evenings and many other folk workshops (singing, dancing, playing) depending on what you and the other campers bring to share.

Some of the comments from last year with these leaders and musicians:

“LOVED the little boomwhacker music session led by Cat, So inspiring and feel-good. Cheered me up hugely when I was feeling poorly! FAB – more of this please!”

“Very supportive and encouraging manner in music workshops”

“Particularly impressed with the music workshops that Cat is running; excellent and varied choice of tunes / styles / rhythms, engagingly taught with clever ‘hooks’ and techniques. Very well done!”

“The planning and delivery of the music workshops has been really professional and Cat has been really clear in demonstrating and reiterating her directions. Thank you, well done”

“Cat’s music workshops are fantastic: the warm-ups, choice of tunes and tuition all amazing. She has a lovely way of encouraging and praising. I’m really enjoying them, thank you”

“A most enjoyable camp with an excellent team of staff – many thanks for their hard work. Barry especially friendly and inclusive as always”

“Very inclusive range of workshops very well planned. We especially appreciated all the music, singing and Playford workshops”
