Our site for four weeks is Peakhill Farm at Theberton which is north-east of Ipswich.  Contrary to its name, our site at is a nice flat field with pleasant surrounding countryside. Three beaches, Southwold, Aldeburgh, and Dunwich, are just a short drive away.  Southwold, a charming seaside town and home to Adnams Brewery, is well worth a visit as is Aldeburgh town with its rich cultural identity, multiple galleries and sculptures. Within easy reach are RSPB Minsmere, Leiston Abbey and what remains of the lost city of Dunwich, with its little museum. Travelling a little further, twenty miles inland, the 12th century Framlingham Castle has an intriguing history and a spectacular elevated walkway.
