What to expect?

A fully catered week of folk activities based around a village hall. Music, song, dance and crafts. Suitable for all – adults, children, families and singles.

Likely to include lively ceilidh dancing in the evenings, all-inclusive music workshops in the mornings, an opportunity to join the band in the evenings and various other workshops depending on what you and the other campers bring to share.

The camp starts on the Saturday afternoon (arrival time is after 2pm), and finishes on the following Saturday morning (please leave site by 12 noon).

Directions: From A466 turn off at Sandyway cross roads for Orcop (2miles). You will pass the memorial on your right and the hall is another mile on the left.

The small and charming cathedral city of Hereford to the north is home to the Mappa Mundi, and also has museums and leisure facilities. The Welsh marches abound with historic castles and spectacular scenery, and Monmouth and Abergavenny are both within reach.

The village is tiny and rural, and the hall situated well away from housing, in an ideal Folk Camp spot.
