I’m a musician and music teacher, but I originally came to Folk Camps as I loved the idea of a camp that welcomed children and not only that, fed them! They were very little at the time but the music sessions were accessible and the dancing in particular is very fun for all. We have attended a Folk Camp every year since then and wouldn’t miss it for the world.
When not at Folk Camps I lead choirs and weekend retreats, alongside working as a musician for my Early Years CIC, Playcircle, where we show how live music experiences can spark the love of music in babies and young families, as well as reigniting it for parents. As a leader my ethos is deeply rooted in inclusivity and fairness, and I like to think I am very approachable! I promise not to put you in a novel but I cannot promise I won’t write a song about campers on occasion and sing it in the song circle.
